The Political Definitionary – A diction devised by an addiction to add vice to advice

  1. Flexible labour market or, economic waterboarding: A euphemism for exploiting at bargain basement prices the services of the desperate in the pursuit of profit. A people willing to bend to the will of their “betters” and absorb whatever pressure is brought to bear and do whatever shit is asked of them to fulfil their barely achievable survival needs all the while adopting the role of engineers for profiteers, the benefit of their benefactors. All this achieved through a policy of worker insecurity. A concept of keeping the subjected afloat in a job with their heads kept barely above water and whose purpose is constantly weighed down under the threat of dismissal, pleasently euphemised under the auspices of incentive. In other words it is to throw a drowning person a lifejacket while simultaneously tying weights to their feet
